Planning time is here for the Allied Arts Show in January & Fall Market in November of 2025 . EEK!
DFA needs an Allied Arts Committee Chairperson to organize the Allied Arts Show, come up with a challenge (Cheryl R. has an idea for that) and coordinate the set-up. There are lots of helpers but we need a leader. Please let me know if you’re interested. Our Theme of course is “Encouraging Local Fiber Artists since 1974.
If you’re not familiar with this show, The Allied Arts Gallery at the Park is the location. We can sell our fiber arts, and the Gallery takes a commission. We encourage ALL of our members to show their best work. It’s great fun, and they even have a reception for us.
The November Fall Market also needs a chairperson. Cathy P. documented the month to month process last year, so there is a great map to follow. Let me know if you’re interested. We would love to see some of our newer members get involved. There is lots of help available.
