Idea for February project: Basket to protect your delicate China. Select a delicate Victorian China plate in your grandmother’s stash or at a thrift store. We will be creating a coiled rope basket to protect your fine China & make it into a tray or wall hanging. Here’s what I found buried in my pantry stash. It’s not great, kind of chipped but great to experiment with. Does anyone have any waxed linen thread to weave the plates into our basket background? What colors of waxed linen thread do we want to order? Let Marion know.
