All of the current board officers have agreed to run for an
additional term. However, the three Members-at-Large
terms will expire in May. The Board needs 2-3 members as
a nominating committee to make recommendations for 3
members to fill those spots.
Members-at-Large are voting members of the board.
Their duties include attending study groups to visit with
members about ideas and concerns to bring to the board.
They may be asked to chair a committee. They are
expected to actively participate in Board and Guild
activities and assist officers in duties as assigned.
Becoming a member-at-large is a great way to learn more
about the Guild and learn about other Board positions and
duties. And, of course, we hope will motivate the member-
at-large in running for other positions in the future. The
position builds strong board history and continuity.
Our current Members-at-Large are Sue DeMerchant, Chris
Love, and Lyn Backe. They have all been valuable
members of the Board and we will miss their input. But we
are looking forward to fresh eyes and ears. Please
consider it. If you are interested, contact a board member.
