Well, we have 15 squares for the Summer Reading Afghan, we need at least 16 to make it even. Joyce, April and Melany offered to make more squares. YAY Knitters!
It was a small group but we had a very lively discussion on which television series to binge watch. Here are some winners. Midsomer Murders, Stranger Things, Timeless, Sneaky Pete, Handmaids Tale, Longmire, Sherlock (the BBC one), Death in Paradise, Shakespeare and Hathaway, Good Omens
There is a change for entries in the Benton Franklin Fair this year. If you knit or crochet something out of commercial yarn that is 100% wool, cashmere, alpaca, llama, silk, angora, yak, any other animal fibers or combination of animal fibers you can enter it in the Dept. 25: Open Class Fiber Arts in Building 1. The Department Supervisor is aiming for 300 entries this year and wants to get the word out about the change. There is a small entry fee but you can enter as many items as you like and you get a free Fair ticket. Click on the link for more info.
