The Drawloom Study group met yesterday and we made huge progress. I went into the studio today, did some tweaking, and wove a small bit. A bit more tweaking to improve the shed would be good.
The photos show the purple thread which may have been a 16/2 cotton. So it took 10 shots to square a pixel. We are still in the experimentation phase. Pull handles on the drawloom: #’s 20-17 are the striping shafts (basket weave pattern), 16 through 9 are the 3 images and 8-1 are the two images within the basket weave stripes. You probably need to look at the draft to make sense of this and maybe the Duelling Rabbits video would help too.
