Another colorful event
Sheila dyed 6 shades of cotton for her project. Page and Clare used Kool-aid to dye their yarn. Melany, Becky and Lori all got their fleece done in baggies. When Charlie tried to use the hot plate we discovered there was a problem. The gazebo didn’t have power. What to do, what to do. We used Solar Power and black garage bags. Everything went into the black bags and being summer in the Tri-Cities they got hot. The fiber for the Fair Stomp Rug all got dyed. About 2 pounds of grey fleece was dyed shades of green and another pound of white fiber was dyed purple, lilac, pink, scarlet, orange, yellow and blue for the flowers. Everything was set in the sun and left heat up.
