Fall Market preparation is accelerating! As we plan for the best Market ever, we are doing more to streamline the cashier station.
We will provide an orientation to all the jobs listed below. Please volunteer if you can. Remember, volunteers donate 20% back to DFA instead of 30% of your sold items.
The job that we haven’t had before is to have two MERCHANDISE ORGANIZERS. This job entails placing buyer’s items in order of maker, which makes it faster for the cashier to check out the buyer.
We will have two CASHIERS both days.
We need one INVENTORY CONTROL position to manage the inventory sheets (requires checking off items that have been sold)
And we need at least 2-3 people for CHECK-OUT of unsold items at the end of the sale.
The schedule is Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-4.
Please let me know if you can volunteer for these jobs.
Cashier: Vicki H and Betsy D are primary cashiers, but we need backup for both days. If you can work a few hours, let me know.
Merchandise organizer: Friday 10-2 or 2-6
Saturday 10-2 or 2-4
Inventory control: Friday 10-2 or 2-6
Saturday 10-2 or 2-4
Check out: Saturday at 4:00-5:00 p.m.
