The future of the Fall Sale is still precarious. We really need someone to co-lead with Cheryl Reed, or to head up the Sale Committee solo or with your own co-lead.

Here’s a list of some of the tasks to make the Sale happen. Please consider volunteering to head up a team of volunteers for one of these tasks. It will help if you can respond by Sunday night, June 23, for a discussion about the Sale at Monday’s Board Meeting.

  1. Take-in: collecting items for sale, inventory sheets, helping with price tags.
  2. Check-out: Returning unsold items to their maker.
  3. Cash register: take payments for items, secure cash/checks.
  4. Publicity: this subcommittee has a lead, Jennifer Ely. Please contact her directly if you can help get the word out about our Sale. je**@sa**************.com
  5. Displays: We want to try making this easier by having teams for each category of sale items. Just a couple people on each team. They will design the display for scarves, or rugs, or towels, or garments, or handspun/hand-dyed skeins, or small items like jewelry, etc. We need someone to pull these various teams together.
