THE SCHEDULE IS HERE!!!

Bet you were wondering when you would see those cute little cars!!!! You know what that means!!!!!!!

From Mr. Craig Cavanaugh, manager for McCurley, the Fund Raising Drive Announcement and dates have just arrived. (See notice below.) For new members and established members who would like a refresher on the information, please read the attached Q&A document.

This is our major fund raising event. We always need 12 drivers for each part of the drive; Check your calendar now, pencil in the dates you could drive. Please contact Dorothy Mucha, 509-947-4966, cell, or de*******@ou*****.com to reserve your seat. Let’s get as many signed up as soon as possible. I’ll  be sending another request for drivers near the end of January.

  • FEBRUARY;
    • Sunday 16th Move to park begins at 11:30 am
    • Sunday 23rd Move from park begins at 6 pm
  • May;
    • Tuesday 19th Move to park begins at 9 am
    • Monday 25th Move from park begins at 6 pm (Memorial Day evening)
  • September;
    • Tuesday 15th Move to park begins at 9 am
    • Sunday 20nd Move from park begins at 6 pm

Please park on the North side of Fowler (across from the front of the Honda store) and please car pool if possible, as this will help with the parking congestion. DO NOT park on the Honda property.

Please bring your valid driver’s license. You will need your license while operating McCurley vehicles. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and insured  with no exceptions due to the dealerships insurance requirements.

Please bring light snacks & beverages with you to enjoy in the transport vehicle only. PLEASE do not bring loose items with you while you drive vehicles (i.e. Cell Phones, Keys, Small Purses, etc.) If you misplace something, it is nearly impossible to find the missing item. PLEASE leave personal items in your personal vehicle or the transport bus.

Each group has the opportunity to earn a drive donation payment of $1,200 per event by filling all the seats on the move to and from the park. The requirement TO PARTICIPATE is 12-drivers during each move, not 10 on the drive to the park and 14 for the drive back. We MUST have 12-drivers on each drive, no more the 12 is required for these moves since we will then have an “over-capacity” issue if every group brings extra drivers on these event moves. If a group is short on both drives, the donation will be paid out at $700 for the group. If a group has 12 drivers on just one of the two moves, then the donation will be $900 for the moves. 12-drivers on both moves will get the group a $1,200 donation check! If driver’s show up late (after the drive has started) or leave early (before the drive concludes) the above donation schedule will also apply to the groups donation check earned. We hope to write a bunch of $1,200 checks in 2020!
