I have been thinking of fall and all the things that go with it. Cooler nights, yard clean up, and harvest-time. I am gearing up to pick my white-concord grapes and make jam and juice, but, the stores have Christmas displays up already. I am not quite ready for that; we just had our September general meeting!

I want to say thanks to all that prepared and presented at the meeting. We learned quite a bit about the upcoming sale at Badger Mountain Yarns, heard about our successes at the Benton County Fair, and learned how we can improve in that area too. The show and tell part of the program was, as always, inspiring. If you weren’t able to attend, we had a visitor, a young woman, who was wearing a nuno-felted top she had made herself. It was absolutely lovely. I think we all had fun socializing and nibbling on refreshments.

We hope to see those who couldn’t attend at future events. We have several volunteer opportunities available. Please read through this newsletter to see how you can help out.

Enjoy fall,   Leslie W.
