I hope you all enjoyed a very merry Christmas and are recovering from your making in general.

I am always a bit sad when the Christmas season is over. Once the Christmas decorations are taken down my house always looks so blah. Often, I leave them up as long as possible, putting away little bits at a time. I stretch it out well into January. I know lots of people who have the decorations down by New Year’s Day. The new year is a time when many of us reflect on the past year and make plans for the upcoming year. Many people plan to eat healthier foods, lose weight, exercise more, get out of debt and so on. There are as many resolutions as there are people; it is a deeply personal thing. I, generally, don’t make many new year resolutions, but this year I have several I am contemplating. Nuno felting is something to concentrate on; I want to learn to make nuno felted garments. Are any of you planning on something exciting or unusual?
