The DFA has been invited to PacaPoo farms in Prosser to demonstrate our craft on Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is the same day as the Prosser Balloon Festival and Dawn Beals of PacaPoo Farm is hoping to show the public just how accessible and fun the fiber arts are. It should be a great opportunity to strut our stuff (spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, ???) and have some fun. There is even Yoga with Alpacas planned @ 9:00 a.m. Demonstrators will be provided lunch.
We are asking two to five members to assist with this. This farm is a neighbor of our member, Jennifer Ely. We need to give her names of interested parties so that she can plan accordingly.
