We were notified today of work that will be done on the parking lot BEHIND our studio. Our back door is in the North building and is scheduled to be directly impacted for about 1 week starting AUGUST 19-25. See the note below for all the details.

If you typically use the back door to get into the building. It sounds like we might be able to use the back door next week but PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND OTHER HAZARDS. The following week they’ll be working behind our building and I don’t believe we’ll be able to safely use the back door. If you need to get into the studio during that week but don’t have a key you can get in during one of the regularly scheduled group meetings (Great Wheels for instance). Or you can try getting in touch with me and we’ll see what we can work out.

Folks planning for our demos and displays at the fair. If you need much gear or large things that would be easier to get to through the back door, you might want to pick it up sooner rather than later. Kathy Meyers and I tidied up the office a bit today and put the boxes of fair items underneath the table held up by filing cabinets. And there’s one bag of fleece for a stomp rug in the main room under the white boards.

If you have any questions you can call me.   Mickie   628-0709 or 430-5776

Union Square Tenants:

Please know we are ready to commence our re-pavement of the back parking lot. This will take approximately 2 weeks. Work is to be done in 2 stages so half of the back lot will be unavailable the 1st week and half the 2nd week. Alternate parking has been arranged for at the West Highlands Church, north portion along Kennewick Ave. Note that it is available only WEEKDAYS. Please use this option and leave the front portion of our Union Square parking available for customers.

Please share and post the attached map for you and your employees.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • South Bldg NO ACCESS to Back Lot Aug 12-18
  • North Bldg NO ACCESS to Back Lot Aug 19-25
  • Use Church Parking Monday thru Fridays Only
  • Contractor to begin staging Thursday August 8th
  • We appreciate your cooperation during this time. The new lot will provide better drainage, improved parking and a central refuse area.
