As RHSG begins their 9th year of weaving, our weavers are putting into practice skills they have learned.

Revisiting some items that were introduced  several years ago, but are new again, projects with new faces are: Weaving on the Diagonal with the Triangle Scarf, Handwoven:JF 1986; Making shopping bags from other plastic bags (soon to be no more) called plarn:Interweave Press, June, 2012; and Kathy’s latest find, this cool Summer Tote, Sakiori Bag, made from fabric strips using a thick and thin combination of weft: Handwoven J/F 2019. What was old, is new again.

We are excited to have new members join in on the journey of weaving with the rigid heddle loom. Some have acquired 4+ shaft looms as well and continue to grow with the Jane Stafford OnLine Guild and Study Group. “Each One, Teach One” is a wonderful adventure to be part of.
