DFA has grant money to help us improve the facility. One of those improvements is to
replace the carpet and vinyl flooring in the back part of the studio. The flooring will be
installed on Wednesday and Thursday May 3 and 4. I’d like to have the studio back to
normal by Monday May 8. I’m sorry this is going to disrupt some of the regular study
group meetings and the board meeting. Hopefully the groups can find an alternative
location for getting together that week.
I need help on Sunday April 30, Monday May 1 and possibly on Tuesday May 2 to move
all of the furniture, equipment and the big shelving units from the office, equipment room
and storage room. We’ll have some totes we can use, and several people have
handtrucks. We have some totes to put smaller things in, and may want some more
boxes or to borrow some totes for the week
Monday we’ll work from 9-12 and 1-4.
Tuesday we’ll tentatively plan on 9-12 and 1-4 but may not need all that time.
We’ll put everything back on the beautiful new floors on Saturday and Sunday May 6
and 7.
