    • Last year we had about 300+ visitors to the farm, and this year we have a NEW BARN, the COUNTRY MERCANTILE and STUDIO has come back to the farm in a MUCH LARGER SPACE, and we have 5 baby alpacas pronking in the pasture. We would love for the fiber artists to grace our new lawn area under a huge tree! Refreshments will be available!

  • NwRSA Fall Board Meeting and Regional Spin-In October 20
    • Hosted by NwRSA Area 4030 The Fall Meeting of the NwRSA Board, and Regional Spin-In will be held on Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Drive, Richland WA.
    • The Spin-In will be open from from 9:00am – 3:00pm and is open to all NwRSA members as well as the general public.
    • The Board Meeting is open to all NwRSA members and will start at 12:30 pm.The Spin-In will include vendors and a potluck lunch. Please bring a potluck lunch item to share. A kitchenette and a small refrigerator is available to store lunch items. A donation of $5 is suggested for participation in the spin-in.

    • The Dalles Guild has also begun work on their Warming the Gorge Project. THey collect names of families and individuals and match their handmade items to those who need them. They have a special tree for youth in Foster Care

    •  Marjy Fiddler, president of the Seattle Weavers’ Guild wrote about an exhibit of lace she saw in Chemont-Ferrand, France this summer. The exhibit had several rooms filled floor to ceiling with lace samples.
    • The surprise was artist, Jeremy Gobe, observed that the lace patterns resembled coral patterns. The Art Science Industry Project is anchoring cotton lace on dying Coral reefs and coral is growing on the lace foundation.
